My favourite markets in Brisbane

Riverside market – Every Sunday 7 am-3 pm:
This was the first market I visited when I was traveling through Brisbane 20 years ago. I loved this market and I still do.
The market is in a beautiful location just down to the river and right in the center of the city.
If you are a tourist this is the place to get that unique souvenir to take home.
Jensen Opals sell opals direct from their mine. The owners Helena and Hans mine their own opals, cut the opals and turn them into beautiful handcrafted opal jewellery. You can find their stall next to The Coffee Club.

Northey Street Organic Markets – Every Sunday 6am-10.30am:
If you are into healthy living you must visit this market. Everything is purely organic or bio-dynamic produce.
This is a nice and relaxed place to spend your Sunday morning.

Manly Creative Market – Every Sunday 8am-3pm:
This market is right on the waterfront, so you will get a nice sea-breeze while shopping. It’s a great place for the whole family to hang out.

Bris Style Markets – Their markets are on every few months. Check their website for more information: www.BrisStyle.com.au
This is the best market in Brisbane if you want to buy Australian handmade items. So many amazing artists display their artwork at this market.

Boundary Street Markets – Friday 4 pm-10 pm – Saturday 10 am-10 pm – Sunday 9 am-2 pm:
I have always loved to hang out and meet friends in West End. Being so close to the city, and yet it is still so different and it has got its own atmosphere. I would say relaxed and down to earth.
This market right in the heart of West End offers great designer goods and beautiful foods. The perfect place to go to after work on a Friday afternoon and meet friends for drinks and listen to live bands.
