Super foods I would have daily:
Chia seeds – They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and high in antioxidants and fibers.
Eat 2 tablespoons of chia seeds and you will get 18% of your daily recommended intake (RDI) of quality calcium. Not to mention the good amount of protein and also iron chia seeds have.
Brazil nuts – They are rich in selenium. Eating just a couple of those nuts a day you get your dose of selenium intake.
They are also a good source of vitamin E, vitamin B plus they contain minerals such as copper, magnesium and manganese.
Oats – A good source of phosphorus, selenium, manganese, dietary fibers, iron, zinc, magnesium and vitamin B1.
Oats also contain 17g of protein per 100g of oats and 54 mg of calcium per 100g.
Kiwi fruits – I usually start my day with a kiwi fruit. They are very alkalizing for your body. These are packed with fiber, vitamins and also minerals. One of the best fruits to eat to get your vitamin C.
Carrots – Are very high in vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and dietary fibers. They are especially rich in carotene and vitamin A.
Broccoli – Is packed with powerful antioxidants. It helps alkalize your body. It is also very rich in nutrients like potassium, calcium, protein and vitamin C. When cooking broccoli make sure not to overcook it to get all the nutrients. I usually throw in the pan in the last minute before finishing cooking.
70% dark chocolate – Is loaded with antioxidants. High in vitamins plus minerals like iron, copper, potassium and magnesium.
Hot Cacao drink – Every day I would have a cup of hot cacao and honey. Boil water, add 1 large heaped spoon of raw cacao powder plus mix in a spoon of honey. It helps for sugar cravings and it gives you the lift in the early afternoon, or even after dinner if you can fall a sleep after having cacao.
Green tea – Is another way to get lots of antioxidants for human body. The phenolic compounds found in green tea are claimed to have amazing health benefits to fight cancers.
